复做历年考试的试题，因为4级考试的题型都是相同的，所考的知识点很多都是相同或者相似的，多熟悉这些题目的话对考试绝对有利。还有就是4级阅读理解中长难句的句式大部分都类似，把不好分析的长难句挑出来多读多背。
作文有很多范文，你背几篇就行，记住作文格式。

建议先大量积累词汇，词汇是一切的基础啊。

可以用现在4级考生用的最多的背单词软件单词风暴，百度“单词风暴官网”下载就行了。每天固定用半小时到1小时，如果词汇量特别少就每天用1到2小时，这样可以用最快的速度速记单词，省时省力事倍功半。现在最重要的就是要尽快地积累词汇了，要不然看到阅读理解什么的全是不认识的单词就晕菜了。

有了大量的词汇做基础，然后就要题海战术了，中国的教育体制嘛，还是题海战术最实用了。时间充裕可以先按不同题型分类做题目，时间不充裕就直接上手整卷吧。

平时的时间比如走路啊，等车啊什么的，就听MP3，可以用单词风暴的MP3导出功能，把你最近学的单词制成一个文件来听，也可以多看看外国大片或者英语的视频短片什么的培养语感为听力做准备吧。

还有听英语歌曲我也想推荐给你，我自己喜欢听英文歌，旋律好听的就更容易记住句型和单词。

如果你说的四级是普通四级CET4，那么四级以上只的就是六级CET6，专业英语四级，专业英语八级了。
如果你说的四级是专业四级，那么四级以上指的就是专业八级了。
当然公共英语四级PET4，虽然达到英语六级水平，也可能说CET4以上，不过一般用人单位不认可，不过可能玩擦边球，还是可以的

如果水平够高，去考一下也无妨；如果水平欠佳，四级够550分，那给自己一个锻炼的机会也不错，准备的这段时间一定会有很大的提升的。
口语难度不算很大，只要流畅就差不多了，不要停顿太多。
这次不考也还有机会，是三年内有效的。
考试结果是有分等级的。

CET-SET考试采用面对面的形式，每场考试由2名主考和3（或4）名考生组成

CET-SET考试分三部分：

第一部分是考生和CET授权的主考进行交谈，采用问答的形式。时间约5分钟。包括考生自我介绍、回答问题等。

第二部分包括1.5分钟的考生个人发言和4.5分钟的小组讨论。时间共约10分钟。

第三部分由主考再次提问以进一步确定考生的口头交际能力，由主考老师进一步提问。时间约5分钟。

四六级写作基本句式
以下是短文写作中使用率最高、覆盖面最广的基本句式，每组句式的功能相同或相似，考生可根据自己的情况选择其中的1－2个，做到能够熟练正确地仿写或套用。

1．表示原因

1、用30天左右的时间做历年真题。

希望大家在整个前30天应该做题，至少把2011年以前的试卷都做一遍，做完之后回顾一下有没有错的，分析一下到底哪个模块是自己薄弱的，放到下一步重点突破。

2、用10天左右的时间突破单科的学习

将在做题中总结的自己的薄弱环，要在这10天左右的时间里去逐一突破。

3、最后10天是做考试的准备，安排一至两次模拟考试，感觉一下考试氛围及时间控制。

考试前一个星期的时候，好好调整作息的时间，很多高校的学生在早上睡到天长地久，梦到海枯石烂，考试时间在9点，至少8点起床，考场在其他学校要起的更早等等，接下来整个考试延长时间应该是2小时20分钟左右，过程当中应该很难去上厕所的，我们强烈建议各位同学在前一个星期的时候，安排一到两回考试，整个感觉一下现场的时间顺序，过程中千万不要被其他人打扰，最好一气呵成，调整自己的状态，了解一下考试技巧。

二、如何把握阅读中的重点呢？

名师建议：阅读对话分开来讲是快速阅读、填空和精选。

快速阅读是技巧性的题目，按照传统方法大家一定会浪费时间，建议大家一定提前看一下题目，七道选择和三道填空，看一些非常重要的核心词汇点，比如数据，比如下滑线，比如说人名、地名，特别特别生动的东西，包括一些他的后方用中文来进行解释，加括号的一些东西，抓住这样一些特点之后，我们再返过来到我们的快速阅读的文章当中去寻找这样的一个重要的动力点，这是一个非常保险的方式。

到了精细阅读情况有变化，20分钟读两篇文章有难度，准确讲是25分钟左右，很多人在这个地方首先失去时间的控制，提醒大家是什么时间需要做完什么样的题目，否则没有其他时间做其他的题目，在精细部分记住几点，一般来讲首段、第二段、前两段，并且按下心逐句来看，之后看一下题目，返过来再读后方内容，如果时间不够用，建议大家后方的每一段最好以前两句，或者最后一句为主，注意段与段之间的结合和关系，也就是说，我们的快速阅读更多的是词汇的问题，精细阅读上升到主题句和之间的关系的问题。

三、写作部分，在什么时间准备比较好？

名师建议：当然是越早越好。写作需要长期积累的工作，建议大家一定要多写，靠压题、背模板，都是一些治标不治本的方式，120字的文章，大家都认为第一句用什么开头，当下什么题使得大家非常关注，引发讨论等等，如果拿这样的套路去写，考官看后不会有什么好感，

建议大家在最近几十天内，踏踏实实做这样几件事情：

首先有50天左右的时间，如果真是一个有心人，是否给自己规定一个任务，至少写十篇文章以上，一篇文章复习部分120字，10篇文章1200字，对于正常的大学生来说，正常的论文都不够，10天可以选择真题，教研生活、社会话题等等的方向，写完十篇之后，就会有一些写作的技巧。

同时，这段时间大家正在阅读，建议大家复习完之后，做完一套题目，给你规定一个小任务，从每一篇阅读当中摘录一到两句能看懂，深深觉得这个句子非常好，句型结构非常好，自己就留下来，默写出来，熟悉它，你会发现很有可能在考场的时候，十几个句型就会帮到大家。

第三件事情大家一定要在规定的时间当中完成对于作文这样的一个书写，而且一定不要在计算机上写，现场的时候我们是用铅字笔，时间问题、字数问题都是很大的问题，男同学写字大都不是很美观，接下来会反复出现一些，包括一些奇怪的符号，这些都是丢分的关键，所以建议大家还是要练一下基本的东西，只有练的多，技术才会增强。

四、听力部分，在听录音前提前浏览问题方面，如何在最短的时间内，提高浏览问题的速度和质量？

名师表示：这个问题非常重要，所有参加四级考试的同学都会遇到这样问题，对此建议如下：

1、不要期望一下将所有题目都看完，建议先看前几道题

可以用一分钟的时间看我们的小对话，一分钟的时间不能全看小对话，只需要看前三道题就可以了，剩下五道怎么办？别慌，每道题的间隔时间是5秒，接下来的五秒钟看下一道题。有的题目听完了实在不知道，就放弃，否则会影响下一道题。

2、看题时，要注意选项当中的谓语和动词的位置

四级听力，我们建议大家还是选择听到什么选择什么的方案。另外，大家看题的时候，千万记住两方面，注意选项当中谓语和动词的位置。

作文，重头戏。

作文写的不好的人太多了，所以作文很容易拉下别人一大截，作对一道14分的阅读理解可能很难，但是英语作文想写的很好，写到100分以上还是可以的，甚至很容易的，当然也仅限于四六级考试，再次鄙视下（我的六级作文110多 帮了我大忙）

   当然高分作文自然有高分的道理，下面论述。

   作文类型很多，但我想十之八九都是议论文。记叙文，书信什么的不在我们探讨的范围之内。这个档次这种类型的作文至少要有思路清晰，逻辑严密，文笔流畅，内容充实，用词精彩……诸如此类的要求。这也是考官们给这个档次作文的评价。说的挺悬乎，其实说到本质却很简单。

   什么叫思路清晰?就是不能跑题，叫你写网络带给人好处你就不能写坏处，相信看得懂英文看得懂题目的人都不会有这个问题。

   什么叫逻辑严密？就是你写的句子段落都要为你的主题服务，不要写出来一句却和题目一点关系都没有，当然必要的转折和联接还是要的。这个后面再说。其实逻辑严密和思路清晰是一回事。你知道自己要写什么，就不会写废话。

   什么叫文笔流畅？第一点，就是你的开头第一句话或者第一段一定要引导出你的主题，其实就是直接开门见山点出你的立场。比如说题目是：童年对人的成长是不是很重要？这是典型的二选一，可以说重要，可以说不重要。怎么开头呢？我说开门见山点出自己的观点，Nowadays it is widely accepted that no stage in a person's life plays a more crucial role than childhood does.这就是开门见山说出重要。那么说不重要呢，在后面加一句话 Yet I find this view quite specious and unconvincing .My contention is that……  这样你的第一段就基本完成了。

   后面的structure就很简单，写为什么重要。第二段写第一个理由，第三段写第二个理由，最后结尾总结。

   结尾怎么写呢？开头第一句话要从前面的议论过渡到你的总结，As the parts above as I concerned, I am really in favor of ……这一句话就很巧妙的过渡到你自己的opinions。

   第二点，句子，段落之间的连接。有联系的句子之间的连接不外乎几种关系，因果，转折……等等，初中生用 because， but……高中生用as ，however……一篇六级作文重复出现两个以上这种词汇我就不想看了，考官一样，太腻味了。从现在开始抛弃这些弱智单词吧，大学生用什么，随便举例 (for instance): 因为(on account of),所以（consequently），因此（hence）,但是（nevertheless）……第一点,第二点，最后一点怎么说？你可能首先想到firstly, secondly……这都是倒胃口的说法。第一点（first and foremost）,最后一点（last but not least），再发散一点，第二点可以用in addition, additionally ……表示更进一步的意思。举了这么多examples，就是要你写作文的用词一定要出彩，要与众不同，要吸引考官的眼球。

  什么叫用词精彩？as the parts I have mentioned above,  把作文里常用的词全部换成符合大学生水平的 词汇，就是用词精彩。

  什么叫内容充实？很简单，议论文本身就是很枯燥的说教，凭借你的逻辑能自圆其说已经很不错了，考官也不指望你能写出什么高深的说教道理出来。还是以童年为例，你费尽口舌说童年怎么怎么重要（significant），考官没耐心看！这时我们需要的是例子！只有活生生的例子才会给人以深刻的印象。这不仅仅是四六级作文的诀窍，我看TOEFL,IELTS作文范文时感觉一样，这同时也是老外与中国人在写文章上面的不同，如果你有机会看到一本英文原版教材for instance, 《Financial Risk Management》（或者翻译过来也可以，但一定要是老外写的），你就会发现老外们对名词基本不会做精确解释，他们一定是通过真实的例子和数字来形象描述某个概念和他们想表达的内容。六级作文也是如此。写童年重要，第一点，童年可以培养儿童的teamwork 能力。然后举例，说自己小时候和伙伴在一起合作（cooperate）玩什么什么游戏，现在长大了这种能力对自己还有帮助。在公司或者学校里和同事职员（co-worker & staffer），同学可以和谐相处或者共同完成任务（mission）。举例的好处除了更加生动，另一个作用就是凑字数，实在想不出来理由就一个for instance，至少可以写出几十单词了。考场时间紧张思维打不开，可以用用的。




最后提提模板，你说你没看过这种东西还可以理解，你连听都没听过我确实很……无语。对于模板，有些人不屑一顾，认为写出来的东西千篇一律。因为开头，结尾，段落之间的连接词都是定式，最多十几种变化。我觉得他们没上过高中数学。很简单，你有十几个开头十几个结尾，排列组合起来也有好几百种变化。再加上中间的内容不同，考官是不会看到两篇一模一样的文章的。何况真论起来这也仅仅是四级考试，TOEFL，IELTS考试的作文是有技术检测出来你写的是不是事先准备的模板，中国的考试……恕我直言，不是一个档次的。总之一句话（all in all）,尽情的用吧，用了就有100分（亲身检验），饿死的总是胆小的。

模板怎么用却是有讲究的。First and foremost，你得找到一本好的作文模板书，我当时用的是《四级作文DIY……》吧，书名不记得精确了（accurate）,大概就是这个名字，感觉很不错的。你去图书馆可以找找，不一定非要一样的，但一定要是那种把开头结尾的变化列举的详细的。In addition,你就要把这些开头结尾背的滚瓜烂熟，并且找到适合自己style的开头结尾，做到出口成章，下笔就不假思索的写出开头和结尾。Last but not least,做大量的练习，把历年真题都写写，做到不管什么话题你都能有话写出来。这样作文基本是没问题了。

So……我觉得该说的都差不多说完了，不要小瞧我括号里标注的英文，都是作文或者阅读里经常用到的，有段时间没摸英文了，现在用起来都有点生疏，有些都不记得怎么拼的……如有错误……自己改过来吧。

As a product of modern computer and the Internet, online games have become very popular among college students. Many students have enjoyed great pleasure and satisfaction from these games. But as we see, some students lacking self-discipline are too much indulged in these games so that their health and academic performances are affected. This phenomenon has caused much worry from the teachers and parents.

However, some others argue that online games are not always harmful. They can train the ability of youngsters to respond to things quickly. Moreover, they can stimulate their imagination and their interest in computer science. More importantly, it does bring college students much pleasure and release their pressure greatly.

From my point of view, online games are a wonderful entertainment if you play them in a clever way. When they interfere too much with your study, it is better for you to give them up at once. But if you have enough self-control over them, you can certainly obtain real pleasure and benefit a lot from them.
